Founder’s Story

Hi, I’m Arabia, the founder of The BAY Project — and most importantly, a mom.

When my son was diagnosed with autism at three years old, I felt a mix of emotions — love, hope, and honestly, a lot of uncertainty. I wanted him to have every chance to thrive, to be understood, and to feel like he truly belonged. But as I started looking for support, therapies, and resources, I quickly realized how hard and expensive it could be.

I learned quickly that when it comes to your child, you become their biggest advocate, even when the path feels overwhelming. I wanted my son to grow up feeling included and supported for who he is, not defined by a diagnosis. And I wanted other families to feel that same sense of direction and hope.

This led me to The BAY Project. It’s my way of helping families find access to therapies, community programs, and a sense of belonging. We’re here to bridge the gap between awareness and real inclusion — one child, one family, one connection at a time.
